Laugardaginn 1 júní fer fram 5K Pump and Run þar sem keppendur þurfa að lyfta líkamsþyngd eins oft og þeir geta og síðan hlaupa 5 km á eftir. Konur lyfta 70% af líkamsþyngd en karlar 100%, einng er keppt í flokki öldunga. Keppnin fer fram á Grandagarði. Vigtun keppenda er kl. 13:00 og keppnin hefst kl. 14:00

Karlaflokkur:

  • Karlmenn 39 ára og yngri lyfta í bekkpressu 100% af líkamsþyngd sinni
  • Karlmenn 40-49 ára lyfta 90% af líkamsþyngd sinni
  • Karlmenn 50-59 ára lyfta 80% af líkamsþyngd sinni
  • Karlmenn 60 ára og eldri lyfta 70% af líkamsþyngd sinni

Kvennaflokkur

  • Kvenmenn 39 ára og yngri lyfta 70% af líkamsþyngd sinni
  • Kvenmenn 40-49 ára lyfta 60% af líkamsþyngd sinni
  • Kvenmenn 50-59 ára lyfta 50% af líkamsþyngd sinni
  • Kvenmenn 60 ára og eldri lyfta 40% af líkamsþyngd sinni.

//5K Pump and Run will be held on saturday 1st of June. Competitors need to lift their bodyweight as often as they can before running 5 km. Women lift 70% of their body weight but men 100%. The competition takes place on Grandagarður. Weighing starts at 13:00 and the competitions starts at 14:00.

  • Men 39 and under contestants will bench press 100% of their weight.
  • Men 40 – 49 will bench press 90% of their weight.
  • Men 50 – 59 will bench press 80% of their weight.
  • Men 60 and over will bench press 70% of their weight.

Women“s lifting divisions

  • Women 39 and under contestants will bench press 70% of their weight.
  • Women 40 – 49 will bench press 60% of their weight.
  • Women 50 – 59 will bench press 50% of their weight.
  • Women 60 and over will bench press 40% of their weight.
